Delayed decisions are driving candidates away

Taking on a new member of staff is a big decision, so it’s no surprise many firms want to think carefully and avoid rushing.
However, doing this can cause the best candidates to lose interest and look elsewhere.
According to research from Robert Half, 67% of jobseekers have accepted a second-choice job offer because their preferred employer took too long to make a hiring decision – meaning both the first-choice company and the candidate might have missed out on a better fit.
