We all want to be happy at work; even the grumpy 50-something middle manager who comes in each day and slumps over his desk with a look of despair wants to be happy at work, the issue for him isn’t the yearning for purpose, satisfaction and happiness, it’s the process of acquiring said happiness that, unfortunately, eludes him.
Happiness in any setting doesn’t just happen. Many of the world’s richest and most successful people have admitted to struggling with their own mental health. It doesn’t come down to wages, or being popular, or consistency – it comes down to willing yourself to discover your own true happiness.
