For every employee, having an equal opportunity to attend an exciting work conference, or being tasked with a key project, is important. Not only does this give the employee reassurance that they are good at their job, but also always them to grow their learning and learn new skills.
Yet, unfortunately in some working environments, this level of equality isn’t always present. In most workforces, this pecking order means that some individuals are put on a pedestal and given the more exciting workplace tasks while others are given whatever is left. This can be determined by office politics.
