As lockdown eases, many workers will be anxious about what this means for their health and wellbeing.
And, new research from Towergate Health & Protection has discovered that employee mental health concerns have resulted in a whopping 145% spike in counselling needs over the course of the past few months.
A spike in counselling needs among workers was first identified in March of 2021, with numbers exceeding the peak previously seen in July 2020.
The data ascertained that the majority of calls for counselling services have been spurred by an increase in worker anxiety, closely followed by ‘low mood’, and depression.
