2020 is swiftly drawing to a close, and as the days fall away, so does the motivation of workers who can’t wait to wrap up their to-do list and turn their sights to enjoying the holidays with their families and friends.
New research from Peakon has found that 46% of UK staff admitted that their productivity levels wane in the run-up to Christmas, whilst it seems that the final ‘productive’ day of the working year has already passed.
However, after such a turbulent year, many businesses can’t afford to lose this time – nor do they want to leave the workforce bored or disengaged before they leave for Christmas. So, what can bosses do to keep workers motivated until the last day of the year?
