Illnesses are rife at this time of year in any office, from the common cold and flu to unwanted tummy bugs, the office is a hotbed for ailments.
However, our gross office habits could be making the situation much worse.
In fact, a new hygiene study by Joblist of 1,000 people found that half of the respondents admitted to going to work without showering at least once in the past month. On average, people went into the office without a shower twice every month, Metro reported.
Elsewhere, 56% of people admitted to wearing unwashed clothing to work in the past month, with a quarter saying they had worn sweaty items to the workplace.
