We are looking for an experienced Purchasing / Buying Assistant to take on a varied role where you will be the sole buyer, but working closely with the company directors.

Daily Tasks;

  • Responsible for the administration support within the Purchasing Department
  • Liaise with shipping companies
  • Providing regular updates to the Team
  • Updating internal database
  • Managing department email inbox

Skills and Knowledge required for this role;

  • Previous experience within a similar position wis essential
  • Strong administrative and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience of importing from the USA
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail

To be considered for this position you will need previous experience in purchasing and proven loyalty to previous employers.
