You will be supporting the team on product information, development of existing and new product ranges and implementation into the marketplace. They are looking for a bright, friendly team player with a hands-on attitude, a degree of physical fitness is required due to the tasks required in the showrooms. This may suit someone starting out in a marketing or product management role.

You must drive and have access to a vehicle as the company is in a remote location and can’t be accessed by public transport. You must also be comfortable working along side dogs as there are two based in the office. This role is office based only Mon – Fri 9-5:30pm with an hour for lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the category team on all new product development.

This includes.

o Market research

o Product briefs and NPD

o Packaging artwork and development

o Photography and marketing literature

o Point of sale

o Product lifecycle management

• Working on both standard brand and own label branded projects, including sample management, specification sheets and customer liaison (on own label).

• Working with the technical team on instructions and product care guides.

• Liaising with China team on product information, and where necessary customer shipment updates.

• Assisting with the maintenance of the Product Information Management (PIM), and ensuring information included in all sales literature is consistent with the master costing sheet (MCS) and PIM.

• Assistance in maintaining and updating showrooms.

• Working with the Digital Marketing Manager on website content, including SkooCloud images, Photography and social media activity.

• Assisting at trade shows (usually once or twice a year), which will require nights spent away from home.

• Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Line Manager or Director.
