Our client is a fast growing company in the retro gaming space. Their mission is to reignite and amplify people's love for the classic gaming experience, in an accessible and legitimate way for everyone.

As Senior Graphic Designer you will be the lead designer for the console and its ecosystem. This role is focused on shaping the way customers see the products and the feelings it evokes.

It is a key role to the successful release of product, packaging and marketing materials. The role requires an exceptional creative who is used to delivering projects on time and to the highest quality.

Senior Graphic Designer responsibilities

• Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion.
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to present messages to the consumer in various media.
• Works with the MD to determine how the brand is seen by our customers.
• Create compelling design work in the form of product design, packaging and marketing materials.
• Work with Far East factories to ensure product design and production is as good as possible.
• Managing freelancers as required to deliver positive results.
• Help project manage multiple projects and liaise with other team members.
• Help shape the future direction of the product range with the Management team.
• Ensuring that design and creative projects are delivered on time.

Requirements

Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.

Excellent organisation and project management skills.

Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.

Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of online and offline design work.

The ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and others, influencing external and internal stakeholders.

Attention to detail.

A strong working knowledge of online and offline design, brand development and the creative process.

Ability to lead design projects from concept to completion.

Salary - Circa £35k

Office based Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
